Distribution: ARGENTINA —Córdoba; Misiones: Chaco. BRAZIL — Espírito Santo: Linhares (Reserva Biológica de Sooretama); Minas Gerais: Congonhal, Manhumirim, Passa Quatro, and Pouso Alegre; Paraná: Grandes Rios (Rio Alonso); Rio de Janeiro: Itatiaia and Rio de Janeiro (Floresta da Tijuca); Santa Catarina: Corupá; S ã o Paulo: Amparo and Indiana.

Host plant: Asclepias curassavica L. ( Asclepiadaceae )— Vasconcellos-Neto (1988).
