Trichromothrips Priesner

Prior to the three new species described below, this genus comprised 35 species, mainly from the Asian tropics ( Masumoto &Okajima 2005, 2011). There are now 16 species of the genus recorded from China, of which albus , assamensis , crispator , falcus , indicus , trifasciatus and the male of elegans are here recorded for the first time.
