Material examined. Holotype: ♂, CHINA: Yunnan Province, Yuxi City, Ailao Mountain National Natural Reserve, 7. V. 2015, collected by Wang Jia-jia and Wu Yun-fei . Paratype: 1 ♂ CHINA: Yunnan Province, Yuxi City, Ailao Mountain National Natural Reserve, 7. V. 2015, collected by Wu Yun-fei .
Remarks. The new species is similar to S. compressus Dai, Zhang & Zhang , but can be distinguished by the evenly convex posteroventral margin of the pygofer, the more shallowly divided apex of the aedeagus in posterior view and lack of spicules on the shaft; and also by the more parallel-sided subgenital plates.
Etymology. The new species name is derived from the Latin words “ hamulus ”, refers to the hook-like style apex.
Distribution. China (Yunnan Province).
