Distribution: Molucca Isls, New Guinea, adjacent small islands, N Australia.
Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc).
Discussion: norfolkensis species group. Includes astrolabiensis, see Freeman (1981) and Hill (1983), also see Flannery (1995 a, b) and Bonaccorso (1998). Peterson et al. (1995) listed astrolabiensis as a distinct species with no comment.
