Lectotype (Hilliard & Burtt in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 82: 263, 247. 1981): Herb. Clifford: 401, Gnaphalium 5 [“6”] (BM-000647001).

Current name: Helichrysum rutilans (L.) D. Don (Asteraceae).

Note: Hilliard & Burtt indicated the type as Herb. Clifford: 401, “Gnaphalium 6”, evidently in error for sheet no. 5 (sheet no. 6 is associated with G. cymosum L.).
