Type species: Pseudoinouela meyi Efetov & Tarmann , sp. nov.
Diagnosis
Small Zygaenidae (length of forewing 5–7 mm) with unicolorous brown wings and body. Ocelli and chaetosemata present. Male and female antenna tapered towards apex, with long pectination (shorter in female) and large distances between pectinations. Proboscis rudimentary. Foreleg without tibial epiphysis, midtibia and hindtibia without spurs.
Male genitalia. Uncus single, valva with long ventral processes; aedeagus curved, vesica with one cone-shaped cornutus.
Female genitalia. Ductus and corpus bursae with folded walls, without strong sclerotisation. Ductus seminalis extends from ductus bursae.
The new genus includes one species with an East Asian distribution ( Philippines).
