Diagnosis

This species is close to E. melanocona (Meyrick) , but distinguishable by the fore wing valva narrowly rounded apically and the dorsoproximal process dilated in a wide ring form. In E. melanocona (Meyrick) , the valva is bluntly rounded apically and the dorsoproximal process dilated in thumb-like form.
