HOLOTYPE: AMNH 132820 About AMNH , adult male, collected on the Rio Inambari , 2200 ft, 12.41S, 69.44W ( Stephens and Traylor, 1983), Madre de Dios, Peru, on 24 April 1915, by Harry and Casimir Watkins. GoogleMaps
COMMENTS: Zimmer gave the AMNH number of the holotype in the original description and listed the specimens he examined. Paratypes in AMNH are: Rio Inambari , AMNH 132819 About AMNH , 132821–132823 About AMNH , two males, one female, one immature female, collected in March and April 1915, by H. and C. Watkins ; Rio Tavara , AMNH 132824 About AMNH , female (not male), 4 June 1915, by H. and C. Watkins ; Santo Domingo, AMNH 150064 About AMNH , male, 2 August 1915, and AMNH 150066 About AMNH , female, 12 August 1915, by H. Watkins. I did not find a second male specimen from Santo Domingo. The three males and one female from La Oroya, Inambari, in ANSP, are also paratypes .
