This species has been recorded from Cameroon, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea ( Fernando Poo), Angola ( Cabinda) ( Beier 1962), and Côte d’Ivoire ( Ragge 1968).

Material examined. — Cameroon: Barombi-Station beim Elephanten-See, leg. Zeuner— 1 male (syntype) ( ZMHB); Angola: Cabinda, Chinchoxo, leg. Falkenstein— 1 female (syntype) ( ZMHB); Côte d’Ivoire: Bingerville, 1961–1964, leg. J. Decelle— 1 male.
