Recorded from Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, and possibly Congo ( Beier 1962).
Material examined. — Equatorial Guinea: Cabo San Juan— 1 male (lectotype of Mormotus adapantoides Bolivar ) ( MNCN); Cameroon: 1 female (holotype) ( MZPW).
