Notes: Neopyrenochaetaceae introduced by Valenzuela-Lopez et al. (2018) based on the multigene phylogenic analysis of LSU, ITS, tub 2 and rpb 2. It is a monophyletic family typified with Neopyrenochaeta (Jaklitsch et al. 2018, Jayasiri et al. 2019). Previously, Neopyrenochaetaceae species belonged to the Cucurbitariaceae (Crous et al. 2015, Jayasiri et al. 2019).
