Remarks. Most of the records of E. fasciatus from Bulgaria should be referred to the closely related species E. litoralis but the possibility that either fasciatus or grossipes (more likely grossipes ) occurs in Bulgaria cannot be excluded. E. litoralis is widespread in southeastern Bulgaria , but it seems absent from the central and northern regions of the country. That is why the records of Kaczmarek alone are formally referred to E. fasciatus .
