Body moderately furnished with short yellow hairs; vertex, occiput and pronotum densely with long golden pubescence.
Head narrower than pronotal base, with dense but fine punctures and a shallow but distinct median line extending from frons to occiput through vertex; frons with width 1.2 times of height, clypeus trapezoidal, vertex widely concave. The apical segment of maxillary palpi thickened toward apex and with truncated apex, penultimate segment 0.6 times as long as apical segment. Antenna slender and the last segment reaching apical fifth of elytra; scape thick and short, nearly equal to the fourth, and shorter than the third; the third nearly equal to the fifth. Pronotum shorter than basal width, strongly convex; disk densely provided with fine punctures, with an indistinct median longitudinal line, transversely depressed along basal margin. Scutellum long-triangular. Elytra 2.1 times as long as humeral width, moderately covered with short yellow hairs; dehiscent from apical seventh, sides straightly tapered to apical seventh, then roundly narrowed towards obliquely emarginated apex; apex with sharply pointed outer angle and dull inner angle; disk densely provided with fine punctures.
