Hosts and distribution. Acanthis flammea (Linnaeus) (Fringillidae) from Poland and Slovakia (Skoracki 2011), Carduelis carduelis (Linnaeus) ( Fringillidae ) from Poland (Skoracki 2011) and Kazakhstan ( Skoracki & Bochkov 2010), C. flavirostris (Linnaeus) from Poland, Serinus citrinella (Pallas) (Fringillidae) from Poland (Skoracki 2011), Spinus psaltria (Say) ( Fringillidae ) from USA (Texas) ( Skoracki et al. 2010a), and S. spinus (Linnaeus) from Russia (Skoracki 2011).
