Philippines (coll. Brunner de Wattenwyl no 1793). One ♀ .

The ♀ holotype is in the NHMW. The MHNG collection has one ♀ under this name but the locality label reads “Indes or.” and it is not the type. There is a note with this specimen recognising it as a junior homonym of L. bitaeniatus Stål. The species was given the replacement name Lebinthus saussurei Bolivar, 1889 . Box A 28 .
