Redescription. FEMALE. Apterous; length 3.4–3.7 mm. Head black, except mandible, clypeus and anterior region of face testaceous; occasionally head completely testaceous; antenna completely yellow, or brown, except segments 1–2 and 8–10 testaceous; mesosoma usually completely black (occasionally propleuron testaceous and pronotum brown); metasoma brown, or occasionally testaceous; legs brown, except part of coxae, trochanters, stalks of femora and tarsi testaceous or yellow; occasionally legs completely testaceous. Antenna clavate; antennal segments in following proportions: 10:6:21:8:8:7:6:6:5.5:9. Head ( Figs. 32, 34 View FIGURES 30 – 37. 30 ) excavated, shiny, unsculptured; face with track of complete frontal line; occipital carina almost completely absent, only shortly visible on sides of posterior ocelli; temple distinct; POL = 1; OL = 2; OOL = 9. Palpal formula 4/2. Pronotum ( Fig. 33 View FIGURES 30 – 37. 30 ) crossed by very slight transverse impression, shiny, unsculptured. Scutum shiny, sculptured by many longitudinal striae, with two lateral pointed apophyses. Scutellum shiny, unsculptured. Metanotum shiny, reticulate rugose or transversely striate, not hollow behind scutellum, with two strong lateral pointed apophyses ( Fig. 31 View FIGURES 30 – 37. 30 ). Mesopleuron and metapleuron transversely or irregularly striate. Meso-metapleural suture distinct and complete. Metathorax + propodeum shiny, with posterior surface reticulate rugose or strongly transversely striate; anterior surface shiny, unsculptured, with track of median longitudinal furrow. Segment 1 of protarsus longer than segment 4 (17:15). Enlarged claw ( Fig. 36 View FIGURES 30 – 37. 30 ) with one large subapical tooth and one row of 8–10 lamellae. Segment 5 of protarsus ( Fig. 36 View FIGURES 30 – 37. 30 ) with two rows of about 17–27 lamellae; distal apex with about ten lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.
MALE. Fully winged; length 2.7–2.9 mm. Head testaceous, except ocellar area brown; antenna brown; mesosoma black or brown; metasoma brown-testaceous; legs yellow. Antenna filiform, with segment 3 approximately four times as long as broad (12:3); antennal segments in following proportions: 6:6:12:10:9:9:8.5:8.5:8:11. Head dull, granulated; frontal line absent; occipital carina absent; ocelli very large (OOL much shorter than greatest breadth of each ocellus)( Fig. 35 View FIGURES 30 – 37. 30 ); POL = 7; OL = 2; OOL = 1; temple absent. Palpal formula 4/2. Maxillary palpus with segment 4 slightly longer than segment 3 (4:3.5). Scutum dull, granulated. Notauli complete, posteriorly separated; minimum distance between notauli shorter than greatest breadth of posterior ocelli (1.8:5). Scutellum shiny, punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Metanotum shiny, unsculptured. Propodeum dull, reticulate rugose, without transverse or longitudinal keels. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein shorter than proximal part (7:9).
