This riverine species was described from the southern tip of Illinois and is found statewide ( DeWalt et al. 1998, 2001), and has since been reported from neighboring Iowa ( Heimdal et al. 2004), Missouri ( Stark 2004), and Nebraska ( DeWalt et al. 2001). Grubbs (2004) discussed this species as a possible addition to the Indiana fauna.
