Diagnosis

Body surface coarsely and densely punctate; body length varying from 4.0 to 8.5 mm. Mandible of female with four teeth; juxtantennal carina strong; clypeus with margin denticulate; pronotal lobe with carina; omaulus with short carina; scutoscutellar suture deeply foveate; a distinct notch between scutellum and axilla; scutellum with translucent apical lamella only laterally; propodeum with row of pits across the base and with large fovea behind spiracle; fore and mid tibiae with one spine on the outer apical margin; apex of female hind tibia with flat projection; arolia present in both sexes; T1 with a line delimiting basal concavity; distal margin of female T1 with short hairs; T6 of female truncated with a median subapical fovea; female S6 strongly curved at apex and slightly exceeding T6. Male with T7 small, rounded or weakly bilobed; the two basalmost sterna long; S3–S4 with fringes of long hairs arched toward the middle; and S5 with a small lateral tooth. Male gonostyli with about the same width across their entire length, without lateral expansions or angulations.
