Perlesta decipiens (Walsh) View in CoL
is a variable species that is widely distributed across the central and eastern U.S. ( Stark 2004; DeWalt et al. 2010). This species is common in large streams and small rivers in the Talladega National Forest region in east-central Alabama, and is likely distributed broadly across the northern and central portions of the state.
