Type : ― SOUTH AFRICA. Dist. Ceres: 10 miles NE of Tulpfontein, shale desert ex succulent Karoo, c. 1400 ft elev., 23 June 1948, Acocks 14455 (holotype K-000243968!; isotypes PRE-0375570-0!; PRE-0593085-0!) .
