Lygus View in CoL View at ENA genus
( Fig. 2 View FIGURE , node 11).
Lygus species are economically important group of insects in many agro-ecosystems ( Shrestha et al. 2007). This genus comprises 163 species in the world ( Schuh 2002 –2013), where three species have been recorded from Iran ( Aukema 2020). The genus Lygus was recovered as a monophyletic group according to all analyses, with strong support (IW= 88%, EW= 86%). The monophyly of the genus Lygus was found in the previous studies based on morphological, molecular and combine data sets (e.g., Schwartz & Foottit 1998; Kim & Jung 2019).
