Phytocoris View in CoL View at ENA genus
( Fig. 2 View FIGURE , node 13).
The genus comprises 275 species known from the Palearctic region, which about 62 species have been reported and documented from Iran ( Hosseini & Mohammadi 2018, 2019; Zamani & Hosseini 2019; Aukema 2020). Phytocoris is recovered as a monophyletic group in both analyses, by 70% resampling support. This result is congruent with Kim & Jung’s phylogenetic analyses based on total evidence ( Kim & Jung 2019). Morphological characters supporting this clade include: antenna longer than body (16-1) and hind femora narrowed towards apex (48-2).
