Eudonia apicifusca Sasaki, 1999: 13 , figs. 2, 3, 6, 7. Type locality: Anmashan, Taichung, Taiwan, China.
Materials examined. China: 1 Ƥ, Zhongzhiguan, Kaohsiung (22°37ʹN, 120°20ʹE), Taiwan, 2150 m, 28.vii.2006, leg. Houhun Li and Xicui Du (genitalia slide No. LWC06339).
Diagnosis. This species resembles E. truncicolella ( Stainton, 1849) , but can be distinguished by the valva conspicuously concave ventrally at base in the male genitalia; by the ductus bursae holding two posterior loops, and the signum situated at posterior area of the corpus bursae in the femlae genitalia. In E. truncicolella , the ventral margin of the valva is nearly straight; the ductus bursae has a posterior and an anterior loop, and the signum is placed at middle of the corpus bursae. This species is also similar to E. lijiangensis sp. n., and the differences between them are stated under E. lijiangensis sp. n.
Distribution. China ( Taiwan).
