Diagnosis. Eudonia puellaris Sasaki, 1991 is simialr to E. albilinea Sasaki, 1998 and E. cavata sp. n. The differences between them are stated under E. albilinea and E. cavata .
Distribution. China (Chongqin, Fujian, Gansu, Guizhou, Henan, Hebei, Hubei, Jiangsu, Liaoning, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Taiwan, Tianjin, Yunnan, Zhejiang), Japan, Russia.
Remarks. Eudonia puellaris varies in the shape of uncus, gnathos and valva in the male genitalia. In most individuals, the uncus is convex slightly, but notched at middle on posterior margin; the gnathos is broad triangular with pointed tip; the ventral margin of valva is slightly convex at two thirds. But in some other individuals, the uncus is straight, without notch on posterior margin; the gnathos is narrow triangular with blunt apex; the ventral margin of valva is angled or slightly concave at about two thirds. This species is recorded for the first time in China.
