Lectotype (designated here by Lack): Herb. Linn. No. 993.26 ( LINN) .

Current name: Pluchea hirsuta (L.) Less. View in CoL ( Asteraceae ).

Note: Stearn (in Blunt, Compleat Natural.: 249. 1971) discussed the protologue and noted the existence of 993.26 (LINN), but did not designate a type.
