Male “cum type comparat” UNLP N° 1695/3 . Argentina, Mendoza.

Remarks. In his revision, Torres (1945: 59–61) selected a male from Mendoza province as the holotype for Chonosia cinnabarina ( Berg, 1879) but in the MLP collection there are two other specimens also labelled as “ Typus ” and “cum type comparat” by Berg. Others specimen are also mentioned in Torres´revision from San Juan, Neuquén and Río Negro, but they were not found. Holotype 1695/1 and male 1695/3 with extended left wings; female type 1695/2 with extended wings.
