Diagnose: RO vorn mit 2 Incisuren und 2 Leisten; Farbe rotbraun; Körperlänge 440-500 µm.
Syn., Tax.: Oribata furcata Pearce & Warburton, 1906. Zetomimus f. : Hull 1916; Ghilarov & Krivoluckij 1975 (B). Ceratozetes f. : Willmann 1931 (B).
Ökologie: Schwerpunkt des Vorkommens in oligotrophen Mooren und Bruchwäldern.
Verbreitung: Paläarktis.
