Chryasus plagiatus Champion (1908: 338 View in CoL , description), Hustache (1938: 24, transfer from Centrinini to Bari[di]ni, Coelonertina).

Diagnosis. This 2.1–2.7 mm long species can be recognized readily by its distinctive color pattern. An unassigned, entirely brown specimen from Costa Rica ( Fig. 33 View FIGURES 30–33 ) is very similar but has stouter appendages and punctate (not rugose) pronotal flanks.
