(2) Dalla Torre & Kieffer (1902: 40) cited erroneously Alloxysta mullensis (Cameron) in England based on the work of Cameron (1883) where this species was described, but Cameron described this species in Scotland, not in England. Following Dalla Torre & Kieffer, Andrews (1978: 87) also made this error stating that this record was given in Cameron (1890). We have examined the original work of Cameron (1883) and the different Cameron papers of 1890 mentioned by Andrews,

and we conclude that Cameron cited A. mullensis only in the Mull Island ( Scotland) but not in

England; thus, the record of Dalla Torre & Kieffer (1902) and Andrews (1978) from England are wrong.
