Distribution in Iran. Iran (no locality cited) ( Papp 1984).
Distribution outside Iran. Bulgaria, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Mongolia, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Selvagens Islands, Serbia, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, UK, former Yugoslavia ( Yu et al. 2012). Host records. Saturnia pavonia ( Thompson 1944; Peigler 1994; Yu et al. 2012), Somabrachys ragmata ( Papp 1979) , Eupoecilia ambiguella , Lobesia (Polychrosis) botrana ( Yu et al. 2012) .
