Description. Body length (including tegmen): male, 6.5 – 7.2mm, female 8.0 – 10.0mm.

General coloration female pink, pronotum sometimes yellowish and mottled with dark brown or black lateral markings on anterior margin. Forewing pink, sometimes with clavus yellowish brown or brownish black, or yellowish white with clavus pink ( Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 A – H). Male brown, pronotum mottled with dark brown or black lateral markings on anterior margin and spots on posterior margin ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 I – J). Hind femur macrosetae 2+2 with antepenultimate seta as large as others; tibial rows PD, AD, and AV with 31, 9, and 13 macrosetae, respectively.

Male pygofer ventral process with ventral extension quadrate ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 A), somewhat footlike with “toe” extended anteroventrad ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 A, D). Style apophysis with apex bluntly rounded ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 G). Connective stem moderately broad, distinctly widened posteriorly ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 H). Aedeagus shaft tubular, with paired apical processes short, slender, curved posteriorly; pair of lateral processes arising 1/4 distance from apex and extended along shaft slightly beyond gonopore ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 E – F).

Female sternite VII with posterior emargination conspicuous, semicircular ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 A). Second valvulae moderately broad; distal section of blades beyond prominent teeth without serrations, shorter than distance between teeth, dorsal margin between teeth evenly concave ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 F).
