CF. DORATODON SP.

Localities: Els Nerets.

Material: IPS-105945 ( Fig. 2Y–Z View Figure 2 ).

Description: A single and incomplete blunt tooth that is rounded in outline. It is wider (estimated 9.6 mm) than high ( 6.3 mm). In occlusal view, the tooth is compressed labiolingually. The preserved carina bears well-marked denticles located towards the lingual face. Enamel is unornamented. Whether a constriction occurs between the base and the crown is not possible to assess due to preservation.

Remarks: The general shape of the tooth ‒ a low and mesiodistally elongated crown ‒ points to a posterior position in the dental series. Other features are congruent with those observed in Doratodon ( Company et al., 2005; Rabi & Sebők, 2015). Thus, this morphotype could be referred to the same taxon as morphotype III.
