Heteroglymma hoplocnemis Günther, 1938: 34–35 View in CoL . Type locality: Mt. Awoe , Sangihe besar.

Description. Holotype ( Fig. 8a View FIGURE 8 ). Length. Pronotum plus elytron 5.30 mm. Integument densely covered with brownish appressed, microgranulate scales. Elytra subovate, 1.22 X as long as wide; simple, without tubercles above declivity; intervals with distinct rows of suberect elongate scales. Legs. Femora of ferruginous color, except subapically darker. Protibia ( Fig. 8b View FIGURE 8 ) with ca. 3 distinct denticles, two largest denticles in basal half of tibia. Penis ( Fig. 8c View FIGURE 8 ) with apex subangulate.

Material examined. Holotype, by monotypy, male: INDONESIA, Sangihe , Mt. Awoe; labels ( Fig. 8d View FIGURE 8 ); condition: fair, left mesotarsus broken and partly missing; right metatarsus broken; genitalia in glycerol in microtube; DNA extraction ARC7415 View Materials (GenBank # OR557460); ( SMTD).

Notes. Based on the peculiar armature of the protibia and its genital morphology this species belongs to Atactoglymma , as anticipated by Günther in his original description. Contrary to Günther´s statement, the holotype is a male, not a female.
