Temnogastrus granulatus Voss

Temnogastrus granulatus Voss, 1961: 251–252 . Type locality: W-Flores, Rana Mese.

Description. ( Fig. 37a ). Length. Pronotum plus elytron 9.00 mm. Integument black, with scattered recumbent coppery scales and interspersed suberect brownish bristles. Head with vertex coarsely punctate-rugose, with scattered scales, some suberect setae near eye. Rostrum ca. as long as wide (1.08 X), sides subparallel; dorsum with median furrow. Pronotum ca. as long as wide (1.01 X); coarsely scabrous-tuberculate; subglabrous nodes each with one suberect bristle; medially with irregular ridge; furrows with scattered scales; in basal half with pair of curved bands of denser, overlapping scales of light pink to greenish iridescent color. Elytra 1.45 X as long as wide; dorsally convex; with mottled vestiture of brownish-coppery scales; intervals with rows of subglabrous granules, each with one suberect bristle; striae distinct. Abdomen. Ventrites 3–5 with sparse recumbent scales. Genitalia. Penis ( Fig. 37b ) with sides of body subparallel, apex spatulate. Endophallic sclerite with rounded apex. Apodeme ca. 2.4 X as long as body of penis.

Material examined. INDONESIA, Flores Isl. : 1 ex, ARC3552 (GenBank # LN866369) , Ruteng, Gn. Ranaka, S08° 38.239´E120° 31.726´, 2125 m, 09-III-2011 ( SMNK) .

Notes. The description of Voss (1961) is based on two male specimens that could not be examined. However, a male specimen collected near the type locality was available for description and sequencing.
