Aleuropleurocelus coachellensis Drews & Sampson, 1958: 120 . Syntypes. USA: California, Coachella, 20.xi.1953, E.A. Drews, on Pluchea sericea ; location of types currently unknown; Carapia-Ruiz (2020a: 273).

Distribution: Nearctic: USA ( California); Neotropical: Mexico.

Host: Asteraceae : Pluchea sericea .

Comment: Carapia-Ruiz (2020a) reported this species from Mexico.
