Genus Spinomarmessoidea Seow-Choen, 2021 View in CoL
Type species: Spinomarmessoidea sharonae by original designation ( Seow-Choen 2021).
Diagnosis. Seow-Chone (2021) defined this genus as follows: head with rounded occiput; ocelli absent; Head with long spines or granules; mesonotum with long spines; anal area of hind wings red, maroon or rosy; apex of operculum notched; eggs similar to those of Marmessoidea .
By checking the new species described in this paper, the general description of this genus should be changed or added as follows: 1) anal area of hind wings in a variety of colors, generally present as yellow, brown or rosy; 2) eggs resemble those of Marmessoidea , but micropyle plate has various shapes; operculum with or without a tiny elevation.
Distribution. China (Guangxi), Malaysia (Pahang) ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 ).
