Trichocypselalongiseta Villeneuve, 1916: 38. Holotypefemale (MNHN): CongoBrazzaville (seeRohÁček 2001: 470).
Basedtothetextofdescription, itseemsmostprobablethatthisspecies is conspecific with Ceropterella nitidosa (Richards, 1953) . However, without a study on the type specimen, I must not propose a synonymy here, which wouldcausealsoapriorityproblem. IthasbeenreportedalsofromZaire ( VAnschuytbroeck 1945).
