Generic diagnosis. Body small. Fastigium verticis conical, with a median sulcus, apex obtusely rounded. Eyes subglobular. Apical segment of maxillary palpus slightly longer than subapical one, apex slightly swollen. Pronotum distinctly protruding backwards, metazona obviously raised and enlarged, posterior margin of lateral lobe widened, without humeral sinus. All femora without spines on ventral margins, apices of genicular lobes obtuse, pro- and mesotibia with spines on ventral margin, tibial tympana open on both sides; posttibiae with a pair of dorsal apical spurs and two pairs of ventral apical spurs. Male tegmina completely concealed beneath pronotum, female tegmina squamiform; hind wings absent. Male tenth abdominal tergite projecting caudad, posterior margin with a pair of projections, or a notch; epiproct absent; subgenital plate comparatively larger, with a pair of styli. Genitalia sclerotized.
