Material examined. Malta, Fomm ir-Riħ, 29. x.2014, 1 ♀, beating vegetation, DM.

Notes. A new record for the Maltese Islands. This is a widespread but mainly West-Palaearctic species ( Lienhard & Smithers 2002). In central and northern territories it is almost exclusively found in association with human habitation ( Lienhard 1998) whereas in the South it is associated with the bark of trees and leaf litter.
