Diagnosis: Notoplanidae with tentacular and cerebral eye clusters. The pharynx is arranged more or less anterior to the middle of the body. Gonopores separate. Male copulatory apparatus consists of seminal vesicle and armed penis; elongate male atrium housing the penis stylet. Female apparatus with Lang’s vesicle. External vagina may be developed as vagina bulbosa.
