HOLOTYPE: AMNH 59876 About AMNH , adult male, collected at Manatee, Belize (5 British Honduras), on 26 December (not February) 1889, by D.C. Ingraham.

COMMENTS: The AMNH number of the holotype was given in the original description, although AMNH was not mentioned. There are four paratypes: Mexico, Quintana Roo, AMNH 254755 About AMNH , Chunyaxche, adult male, 30 January ; AMNH 254756 About AMNH , immature male, Palmul, 9 February ; AMNH 254757 About AMNH , female, Vigia Chica, 27 January, all collected in 1926 by Griscom. ‘‘ Honduras,’’ AMNH 42001 About AMNH , male, from the Lawrence Collection .
