Distribution: Peru, Bolivia, SE Brazil, the Guianas and Ecuador to Tamaulipas and Sinaloa ( Mexico); Trinidad; Grenada (Lesser Antilles).

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc).
