Diagnosis
Female: fore wing with postmarginal vein usually 1.4– 1.8 × (1.25–2.1 ×) length of postmarginal vein; disc usually bimaculate or at least obscurely infuscate behind base of marginal vein and/or behind stigmal vein ( Figs 12 View Figures 8–16 , 43 View Figures 40–47 , 52 View Figures 48–56 ) (except N. cosmopterix , Fig. 20 View Figures 17–25 ); antenna with flagellum elongate, length of F1 + anelli (1.6)1.9– 2.4 × length of pedicel and 2.8–3.8 × as long as broad ( Figs 14 View Figures 8–16 , 22 View Figures 17–25 , 46 View Figures 40–47 , 54 View Figures 48–56 ). Mesosoma elongate, 1.5–1.9 × as long as broad ( Figs 11 View Figures 8–16 , 21 View Figures 17–25 , 44 View Figures 40–47 , 51 View Figures 48–56 ). Male: antennal rami with mps and with elongate, hair-like setae ( Figs 16 View Figures 8–16 , 25 View Figures 17–25 , 47 View Figures 40–47 , 56 View Figures 48–56 ). Hosts include Lepidoptera .
