1824 Isis : 668 (diagnosis).

1825 Beitra¨ge: 341, pl. 2 ( fig. 5 ).

PRESENT STATUS: Uncertain, nomen dubium.

REMARKS: This species was first diagnosed in the Isis . In the Beitra¨ge there is the description of one specimen, with measurements and scale counts. The name was not indexed by Boulenger (1896) or by Peters and Orejas-Miranda (1970) and has not been identified in the literature. It is not on the collection list, and there are no specimens in the collection.
