Possible type:—[ Greece] In m. Dirphys Euboeae, alt 4000’–5100’: August 1848 & August 1858, T. H. H . von Heldreich s.n. ( WU 0074669 ) .

Halácsy (1899) refered to recently collected material (“nach jüngst gesammelten … Exemplaren”), thus the status of the Heldreich specimens collected in 1848 remains unclear.
