Current name: Thymus leucotrichus ?

Syntype:—[ Greece] Euboea: Delphi : Auf d. Gipfel: 28 July 1901, C . Leonis 38 ( WU 0074789 ) .

A taxon of uncertain status, possibly conspecific with T. leucotrichus . In Dimopoulos et al. (2017 onwards) it is listed as a synonym of T. dolopicus , a rare species from the mountains of C and N Greece which does not occur on Evvia ( Strid 2016).
