Isolectotype :—[ Greece] Sermeniko: in silva supra Bezula: 18 August 1896, P. E. E . Sintenis 1197 ( WU 0077883 ) .
Lectotype in BRNM according to Szeląg (2014: 198).
The original spelling of the epithet in Freyn (1897b) was sermonikense but referring to Sermeniko (Σερμένικο). This orthographic error was already noticed and corrected by Halácsy (1902).
