Current name: Aster alpinus subsp. cylleneus

Syntype:—[ Greece] in m. Kyllenes reg. super. rar. alt. 6500’: 14 July 187# [1852], T. G . Orphanides 285 ( WU 0074983 ) .

Judging from the locality and the sequence of collecting numbers of other Orphanides vouchers in WU and LD the correct collecting year should be 1852.
