Distribution. Palearctic, Japan and Oriental regions, adventive in North America. Canada: AB, NB, ON, QC, SK. USA: IL, MA, MD, NH (NSR), NJ, NY, UT, VA.
Collection and Habitat data. In NH adults were captured in deciduous leaf litters on the margins of riparian habitats. Collected from late April to September. In Canada found in forested and anthropogenic habitats: specimens were taken from decaying plant material such as compost, moldy corncobs and cornhusks, weeds, haystacks, and rotting fungi ( Klimaszewski et al. 2018) .
