Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: NB, NF, NS, ON, PE, QC. USA: MA, ME (NSR), NC, NH, NY, PA, VA, VT.

Collection and Habitat data. In NH captured under hemlock bark, in leaf litter, on wall of water tower, and on chicken mushrooms, while most were captured by flight intercept (FIT) and window traps. Collected from April to September, with one specimen taken in December. In Canada found in various hardwood and conifer forests including an alder ( Alnus sp. ) swamp, ( Klimaszewski et al. 2004, 2018). Adults were taken from under bark of red maple, a conifer log, and American beech; also in forest litter, in moldy conifer duff at base of tree, in rotten red maple log, in fungus covered log with punky wood, on vegetation in deciduous forest, and in rotten tree cankers ( Klimaszewski et al. 2004, 2018).
